For Donald Trump to be suing Rupert Murdoch is likely a PR move to try to discredit the 50th birthday letter to Jeffrey Epstein.  Trump listed that the suit was pro se, meaning he's representing himself.  $XX billion is obviously more than Trump's reputation is worth today.
