Take a planet with nothing but X house = 22m BTC X houses = 11m BTC each 22m houses = X BTC each As ANYTHING new gets produced, the price of EVERYTHING falls. So, at best IR= negative new production. In this world (which cannot exist, because it's totally absurd and in the end there would be zero production of anything, as no incentive) waiting (time) is the interest rate.
