(left pic) How about if we compare it with 🇨🇳PLA soldiers? (right pics) Yeah… The taiwan's infantrymen, even the "elite" units in the video, completely lack electronic optics of any kind. No red dots or holographic sights, only iron sights. No night vision equipment of any kind, only helmet-mounted white lights. As you all know, Taiwan’s biggest industry and export is electronic equipment. If it wanted to manufacture NVGs and red dots for every soldier in the army, they could do it in under a year for under a billion USD. Thus, the lack of these optics is not for a lack of resources, but because taiwan military simply doesn’t care about real combat effectiveness. They only care about the superficial image of the military. This is why they invest billions into useless, but flashy Abrams tanks, while investing nothing into the most important pieces of modern infantry kit.
