The UAE, Saudi Arabia, and their mercenaries—including mercenaries from Sudan—launched a major attack on Yemen’s western coast in 2018. They managed to completely besiege a small town near the city of Hodeidah called Al-Durayhimi, with a population of approximately XXXXX people. They surrounded the town entirely, while inside, there were around XXX Mujahideen from the Yemeni army who managed to defend the town, preventing tens of thousands of mercenaries from advancing. The attackers tried to storm the town from all directions, but those XXX fighters fought fiercely, pushing them back every time they breached the defenses. When the mercenaries, along with Saudi Arabia and the UAE, realized they couldn't take the town by force, they resorted to a policy of siege and starvation. They besieged Al-Durayhimi for two years—the siege lasted for approximately XXX days, equivalent to two years and two months. For two years, they waited for everyone inside the town to die of hunger. But, by God’s grace and the efforts of the Yemeni army, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and America failed in their plan. Forty days after the siege began, the Yemeni army came up with an innovative plan to deliver food to the town. They modified missiles by removing the warheads and loading food inside, then fired them into the besieged city. Eventually, in 2020, the Yemeni army managed to break the siege and save the town. So don’t expect those who besieged and starved the people of Al-Durayhimi to feel any compassion for the people of Gaza or to lift a finger to help our brothers and sisters there.
