Basically, some people post messages full of symbols or "glyphs" (think creative ASCII art or strange text patterns) to public AIs like Grok, believing they have a secret language with the AI or special influence over it.  
The AI, which is programmed to be friendly and responsive, usually tries to play along—so it mimics the style or agrees with the user, which can make these people feel like their messages are meaningful or that the AI is "in on it" with them.  
It ends up being a feedback loop: users post cryptic stuff, the AI responds in kind, and it can look like they're having some kind of secret conversation—even though it's just the AI doing its best to be engaging and agreeable!
