According to Cysic, they are addressing two major problems in the ZK ecosystem:

Prover Centralization: In recent time, most proving is controlled by a few teams running custom infrastructure which can be very risky, slow, and goes against the ethos of decentralization. 

Cysic changes the model by allowing anyone to contribute hardware and also get rewarded for it.

Proof Settlement Latency: The verification of a proof on Ethereum can be very slow and expensive. 

Cysic offloads this by batching and verifying proofs off-chain, with final results being available on-chain, even faster, cheaper, and more efficient. Cysic will change everything in ZK
