But if it were to happen , for example if the US Treasury took possession of some or part of Ripple’s XRP escrow , maybe the Treasury would say we are valuing our XRP at a base price of $1000, and will never sell for less , but it may go above that price if the free market dictates a higher value in the future. So if US Treasury valued XX% of the total supply of XRP under their control at $1000 , the rest of the free market would probably rapidly push the price up to that value and banks and other institutions would hoard whatever they could get their hands on. So I hope something like this happens , but so hard to predict. Maybe it takes XRP 5-10 years to get to a price of $XXX - $1000 in the open free market. Or maybe it all happens in the next couple years while Trump is in office.
