The USA has a similar progressive tax rate to that of most European nations while offering X% of the benefits.

All European nations combine free-market capitalism with strong social welfare programs (e.g. universal healthcare, unemployment benefits, public education).

1-2 years of maternity leave is guaranteed by law.

Who do you continue arguing with and about what exactly? What are you comparing the pinnacle of capitalism, the USA, to? Cuba?

Yes, the standard of living in the USA is probably better than Cuba, congratulations.

Demand more for your money, people… don’t be useful idiots going around arguing how it’s a good thing you don’t get sh** in return for your tax dollars.
