I got food, clothing, and a place to live straight away."❤️ “I’m so happy I met her. Today, Sophie is like family to me. I know I can tell Sophie anything; she is never disappointed in me. I live in a home for only women now; I wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for her.”😍 Lastly, Lainey sent a message for the public who see people rough sleeping. “I know what it is like out there. Some people will look at you in a nasty way because you look dirty. I’d like them to know that homelessness is harder than anyone thinks it is and not to judge people. You can go days without eating and sleeping. It’s tough.”❤️🩹 Indeed it is something that thanks to Diana's influence on Homelessness, Prince William embraced and also talked about during his 40th birthday "to learn to see the person behind the red tabard, or the cardboard sign, or the empty cup."👌 Today, Lainey has survived that ordeal and is on the path to finally be financially independent and it took people with compassion and understanding to help. Therfore, when it comes to Prince William's project, his critic tends to look at his wealth to attack him. However, what they will overlook in her bitterness and false judgemental moral stand are homeless people like Lainey whose lives are saved and inproved by people like Prince William, by providing them a voice, a new home to be safe in, food to eat, clothes to wear and the exposure to get a permanent job🔥 These are the people William is doing this project for and Life has a way to repay Kindness in kind to those with a charitable heart❤️ #PrinceofWales 📹ITV XXXXXX engagements **Related Topics** [prince william](/topic/prince-william) [Post Link](https://x.com/Canellelabelle/status/1946623854123909421)

The News the press hates to report on William: How his homeward campaign and work on Homelessness continues to improve regular people's lives👌
The Single homeless Project just reported that after appearing last year with Prince William on his ITV documentary on Homewards, to champion SHP's work on women’s homelessness, Lainey who used to be homeless, is today gainfully -and permanently employed by Pret🤩👏🏽
Lainey's raw story was one that touched me when I watched the documentary. At the time of the documentary, Lainey lived in one of SHP's five specialist women’s hostels but her story started full of challenges.
Her mum died when she was child, and then her Nan and Grandad also passed away when she was living with them.
Lainey and her brother were moved in with her auntie, but there as early as a teen she became a victim of verbal and physical abuse pushibg her to run away at XX and become homeless. She said:
"My auntie was verbally and physically abusive to me. Social services checked in, but all they saw was a clean house and food on the table and judged everything to be fine. They didn’t listen to me.
