The Prince had spent nearly XX years in a coma, a condition that garnered him widespread attention and concern. His father, Prince Khaled bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, confirmed the heartbreaking news of his son’s passing in an emotional post on social platform X.

In his public announcement, Prince Khaled wrote: "With hearts believing in Allah’s will and decree, and with deep sorrow and sadness, we mourn our beloved son: Prince Al-Waleed bin Khaled bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may Allah have mercy on him, who passed away today."
