Ethereum gave us Proof-of-Stake.

Bitcoin gave us Proof-of-Work.

Now ZK’s most foundational infrastructure might be built on something new:

Proof-of-Compute (PoC) a model where raw computation becomes the most valuable resource on-chain.

@cysic_xyz didn’t settle for staking games or idle validator models.

They designed a system that rewards the work behind every zero-knowledge proof, not just passive token deposits.

Because if ZK is going to scale the internet…
someone needs to scale the effort.

Here's how PoC flips traditional incentives:
In a standard PoS chain:

Validators stake → get selected → confirm blocks → earn inflation

Work is abstracted

Rewards are detached from computational effort

In Cysic:

Provers generate proofs (ZKPs)

Verifiers verify them

Validators produce blocks based on actual compute throughput

Rewards are issued not for speculation, but for contribution.

Stakers don’t just delegate capital they delegate compute power.

The more computation you provide, the more weight you hold in governance, consensus, and block production.

This isn’t “stake and chill.”
It’s earn through proving.

What does that unlock?

- Economic alignment: Real work gets real rewards.

- Infra bootstrapping: New ZK projects don’t need to build their own prover networks, they can post jobs directly into Cysic.

- Open market for proving: Anyone with a GPU, FPGA, or soon ASIC can enter the network and compete for tasks.

Add in CGT, a governance token earned through compute and the whole system tilts toward contributors, not speculators.

The result?

A protocol where power flows from those who do the work.
Not just those who bought early.

ZK is hard to scale because its economic surface is too thin.

@cysic_xyz expands it horizontally with the first incentive model that rewards the act of proving as a primitive.

It’s a whole new category of economic design:

• Less idle capital

• More verifiable effort

• Direct connection between contribution and consensus

Proof-of-Compute isn’t just any innovation
It’s the incentive layer ZK always needed.

That's a wrap!
