@StraightalkGenX @gman5180 8-10% in the 70s, spiked to XX% in the early 80’s. My parents bougt their  house in 1975 for $40K. Mortgage, tax and insurance was $300/month according to my dad. Equivalent to $1900 today. His house is estimated at $1.4M. Mortgage payment on the house today would be $7K/month.
