It failed to get into the proper turn lane in time for a turn twice, exhibited minor phantom braking several times, and caused a manual takeover when it tried to change lanes into a car that was coming fast from behind (but not that fast!). It also does the double stop thing half the time at stop signs. It’s still a useful tool, especially on road trips, & knowing that you have to pay attention & be ready to intervene sometimes. But man, it’s sure feeling old in the tooth! Took HW3 FSD for a spin yesterday. It failed to get into the proper turn lane in time for a turn twice, exhibited minor phantom braking several times, and caused a manual takeover when it tried to change lanes into a car that was coming fast from behind (but not that fast!).

It’s still a useful tool, especially on road trips, & knowing that you have to pay attention & be ready to intervene sometimes. But man, it’s sure feeling old in the tooth!
