Somehow the pouch where I usually keep it slipped out of my bag pack and I left the plane without double checking I had everything in my bag. Pretty stressful situation. I was able to restore all my evm wallets without hiccups, the only issue I had was with $ADA. Looks like ledger uses a different path so when I restored my seed phrase using a hot wallet my $ADA wasn’t showing up. I knew my seed phrase was correct because my evm wallets were restored and all my coins were there. There is a best-buy down the street from my house so, I ended up picking up a new ledger wallet from best-buy. It was scary but I needed a ledger as soon as posible. I was able to restore my $ADA wallet and transferred the coins to a cex for the time being. I still have staked assets in the wallets I lost so, Im really hoping I can unstake before someone is able to break the pin on my ledgers. Moving forward I wont be staking anything ever. Locking up coins for staking is way too risky imo. Not only is there smart contract risk but also this risk of potentially losing your wallet and not being able to transfer tokens to a different wallet becase all your coins all locked up. Moving forward Im also keeping a spare ledger ready to deploy in case I lose the one Im currently using.
