On the morning of July 19, 2025, Chinese Premier Li Qiang announced in Nyingchi, Tibet: the lower reaches hydropower project of the Yarlung Tsangpo River has officially commenced!
I suspect most Indians are unaware that the Yarlung Zangbo River in China becomes the Brahmaputra River after entering India.
I believe it won't be long before Indian media is flooded with angry denunciations of China.
I want to tell the Indian people this: stop using water resources as a weapon to threaten our friends in Pakistan—because China can just as easily use the same weapon against India.
Let's have peace between the three countries.🇨🇳🇵🇰🇮🇳
