What separates the consistent traders from the rest isn’t the to always be right and win every time... it’s the ability to take a loss quickly and move on. Small losses are part of the cost of trading, they’re normal and don’t mean you’re a bad trader. Every great trader you idolize has losses. It’s easy to hold, pray, and hope a position eventually comes back, but what if you just cut the position quickly and didn’t have to stress or pray or hope? You’d have two things, one being your sanity and the other the capital to put into a new trade.
