Right now stock market close to all-time high, USA has no soldiers in a war, interest rates generally around 4%, getting border under control, economy doing well, etc. 
Much more chaotic/unstable times:
Kennedy assassination, Vietnam War, 9/11, 2008 mortgage crisis and market crash
