There something underrated about having the same phone for 5+ years. 

I’ve had the same iPhone since 2018. 

They don’t even sell it anymore. 

I pay peanuts a month for unlimited everything. 

Not tied down to a some XX month contract to one location. 

I’ve been thinking about getting a new one for the last X years. 

I don’t have to worry about using it in dodgy areas 

Don’t have to worry about it being stolen 

Don’t have to worry about loosing it. 

Don’t care if I drop it. 

The peace of mind it gives me far outweighs the slightly better screen I’d get on the newer models. 

I will only buy a new phone when it physically won’t turn on anymore
