Anti Irish racism is an extension of the Spanish black legend that jews expelled from Spain and portugal spread in the Netherlands and England.  The propaganda of the dark monkey featured and primitive hairy "Ibero Celt" shows the common origin of this nasty Jew smear. Marranos expelled from Iberia sought to racially defame and persecute all ethnic Catholics, from Ireland to Poland, due to their beliefs that they were a potential fifth column for Spain and could thus undermine Jewish power in the British Isles or Eastern Europe by embracing Spain's global crusade to free Europe from Jewish money power via the Inquisition.

Later on Irish are portrayed as tools of Germany, Russia, Libya, now Palestinian nationalism. Jews believe they are inherently anti-Semitic.
