Carbon dioxide (CO₂) is not pollution. 

It is only legally considered a “pollutant” through the 2009 EPA Endangerment Finding—a response to Massachusetts v. EPA (2007)—because it is a “greenhouse gas.”

By that ridiculous measure, water vapor is also “pollution.”

But, we don’t consider water a pollutant because water is necessary for life. 

But, so is CO₂.
