I’ve been checking out both Irys and Walrus lately. At first, they looked kinda similar. But they’re really not.

@irys_xyz is a full chain.
It handles everything by itself.

Walrus leans on Sui to stay running. Feels more like training wheels than real infrastructure.

Irys is cheaper.
One token, no nonsense.

Walrus makes you manage two tokens. I’m not doing extra math just to store a file.

With Irys, you pay once and your data stays forever.
That’s how it should be.

Walrus is more like renting storage. Miss a payment and your stuff could disappear.

Smart contracts connect easily on Irys. It’s smooth, no extra setup.

Walrus can do it too.
But it takes more steps and more work.

If you are building something that matters, go with Irys.
It’s early, it’s clean, and it’s built to last.
