$XRP — hype or real value?

🔵 XRP's market cap is already $XXX billion, but only $XX million is locked in DeFi, and volumes on decentralized exchanges are negligible — meaning that most of the price is based on expectations and speculation rather than actual network usage.

🔵 Historically, there has always been a lot of hype around XRP: the SEC sued Ripple for $XXX billion over unregistered sales, and the influence of large investors and influencers often drove the price more than the actual technology.

❗️ Conclusion: for now, XRP's market cap is more like a crowd effect and news stories than a reflection of the blockchain's usefulness
