NATO General: The West has only a year and a half to prepare for war with Russia and China

The Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) General Alexus Grynkewich warned: in 2027, a simultaneous attack is possible — Russia on Europe, China on Taiwan. The West must be ready.

“We will need everything — weapons, ammunition, equipment,” he said during a meeting with defense industry representatives.

According to BILD, the German government seriously fears that Putin may strike one of NATO’s eastern-flank countries even before 2029 — the year when the EU hopes to complete its defense preparations.

Grynkewich also announced urgent talks with NATO’s military leadership — to discuss aid to Ukraine, especially in air defense. “I won’t tell the Russians how much and what we will deliver. But preparations are underway,” he added.
