The image with those cute animated characters and the "ALPHA TESTNET" banner definitely grabs attention. Irys seems to be a Layer-1 blockchain focused on unlocking the value of data, which is a cool concept....combining low-cost storage, verifiable compute, and AI coordination into one network. 
The fact that they’ve raised $8.9M shows there’s some serious interest behind it.
