However, where Paulo can have success is if he really is willing to turn into "The Eraser” of old and turn up the heat. We've seen Kopylov get a little out of sorts at times when guys come forward and put pressure on him. He's still dangerous but not like he is when he can control the range and tempo, plus it's much harder to throw kicks when you are having to go backwards. If I knew Costa would come out here and fight like that guy who went to war with Yoel Romero.. I would absolutely pick him to win this fight and honestly if I didn’t see Kopylov come out on top in a back and forth, toe to toe war with Chris Curtis I would probably be picking Costa here. Even still, I really want to pick Paulo just because I really do believe the ability for him to win this fight is there. I just don’t trust him to bring it out. I mean he said he was going to, but hasn’t he said that like X times now? Even though I am going to side with Kopylov in this one I still do really like Costa at +190, I think the fight is a lot closer than that (though if you take his moneyline just be prepared to want to off yourself when Costa eats the 20th body kick or jab and sticks his tongue out and brushes it off instead of actually getting in Kopylov’s grill and doing something about it).
