The CEX listing process is a legalized pump-n-dump

Exchanges acquire a bunch of tokens via a "listing fee" or "liquidity budget" prior to their listing announcement which they know will pump the price which is effectively insider trading (they often pick scammy low cap coins because they can get a higher percent of the supply and they know their announcement will move the market more) and then they sell into the hype under the guise of "market making"

The entire process is unethical and harms millions of retail investors
