McLaren set for major Belgian GP boost to further hammer F1 rivals:

— McLaren CEO Zak Brown confirmed the team will implement its new floor on both cars at the Belgian Grand Prix after a successful trial at Silverstone. Speaking to media, Brown expressed optimism for the upcoming race:

“More of the same, maybe not a 30-second win, but more of the same.”

— Brown noted the unique conditions of the British GP and the effectiveness of the new floor, which was initially intended as a test component:

“This [the British GP] was a unique race because of the [weather] situation. The floor worked well, so we'll be unwrapping that and throwing that on both cars.”

— McLaren has dominated the first half of the season, winning nine out of twelve races. Brown acknowledged the team's strong position in the championships but emphasized the ongoing challenges:

"I think all these races have been epic, even though the numbers are - what is it, nine [wins] out of 12?"

— Despite McLaren's commanding lead, Brown highlighted the stress involved in maintaining their performance:

"Every race is pretty high stress, so as long as they're great to watch on TV, I hope we do another nine out of 12, but it's an exciting season."

— In the constructors' standings, McLaren holds a 238-point lead over Ferrari, making their title retention seem inevitable. In the drivers' championship, Max Verstappen trails McLaren's Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris by XX and XX points, respectively, indicating a challenging path ahead for the Red Bull driver.
