UPDATE: The House of Representatives has submitted its response to the Supreme Court’s directive on the impeachment proceedings against Vice President Sara Duterte on Friday, July XX. According to House Spokesperson Atty. Princess Abante, the filing—through the Office of the Solicitor General—asserts that all four complaints were handled constitutionally.

The House also emphasized its exclusive legislative authority over such proceedings, citing the separation of powers and due process. This comes after the SC requested information following a petition questioning the legality of the impeachment effort. #ImpeachmentWatch
