This is why she only very reluctantly called it an "unfolding genocide" in March of 2024 after anti-genocide protesters forced her into it, then basically never called it that again as she kept voting for bills pledging her devotion to the "right of Israel to self-defense" while smearing anti-genocide protesters as evil monsters and just stopped saying anything about it at all for the past half year as she's now just openly and gleefully voting for funding the genocide. So her bullshit fake formal recognition of the genocide is entirely meaningless, and its sole purpose is for her to pretend like she's anti-genocide when in fact she fully supports it. This is a common move pseudo-radicals make to launder their genocidal Zionism. Ethan Klein and Contrapoints do the same shit. Bernie Sanders is such a depraved scumfuck he won't even give the meaningless rhetorical pretense of pretending like he recognizes the genocide. You will see when she begins her campaign to run for president and they turn her "unfolding genocide" quotes into campaign fodder, she will retract it and say she was "speaking in the heat of the moment" and now "having reflected on it, I no longer believe Israel committed genocide." Similar to Zohran's recent "reflections" on Globalize the intifada.
