Contact is a different kind of space and alien movie starring Jodie Foster as Doctor Ellie Arroway, Matthew McConaughey as a man of God and the late great John Hurt as a Elon Musk/Warren Buffett sort of guy 



Kinda a Spoiler ☢️ with a tangent but the ending seems to set up for an eventual sequel . . . but since there is no second film (as the author/writer passed) to match this with, I’d prefer a bit of a different ending.  

I would show a optimistic vision of what mankind can be capable of over the next hundred or thousand years and beyond with a little bit of vision (for lack of a better word) populating and terraforming other planets and moons in our solar system and showing what we can achieve.

Just my opinion (which is probably an unpopular one) but maybe we’ll see a sequel or continuation with a bit of patience and some more time (so to speak).
