I GOT my severe STORM warnings today from NWS in Wakefield Va, NOAA via app, the weather channel via the storm app, via alerts from WTVR local news/weather station, Comcast cable tv via on screen emergency alert, local city alerts via sirens in our town , telephone calls from local town government, email alerts from our local EMS center for local emergencies.  I was so disappointed that I did not get ANY notifications from NPR / PBS or their affiliates.  So I guess they are not the emergency notification mega center that the democrats are crying about.  MARKED AS SAFE : MADE POSSIBLE BY A PLETHORA OF SYSTEMS NOT ASSOCIATED IN ANY WAY TO PBS OR NPR.
