A Chinese sailor survived XXX days alone at sea in 1942 after his ship was sunk by a German U-boat. Living on a life raft, he drank rainwater, caught fish, birds, and even killed a shark. Rescued by Brazilian fishermen, he received the British Empire Medal and is remembered as one of history’s most resilient survivors.
