NEW: “Juvenile with criminal history” steals car with 1-year-old baby inside and crashes after high-speed chase

The 15-month-old baby was asleep in the backseat when the stolen car took off

A Marysville police officer spotted the vehicle on I-94 and tried to stop it

The driver fled, reaching speeds over XXX mph during the chase

Thankfully, the baby was not harmed

The driver, a juvenile boy with a criminal record, was arrested

He is currently being held at the Macomb Juvenile Detention Facility (Michigan)
