@alaynatreene: To be clear, the president has been pushing back very strongly on the WSJ report, saying the letter is fake and arguing that he’s going after Rupert Murdoch, the head of News Corp.

This is what Bannon told me about that. He said, “Good start, but stay on offense. It’s when Trump is at his best. Attack. Attack. Attack. All appeals to your decency. With all appeals to your integrity. Sir, with all.”
