@QeWENeQ @Terry_Slyme @Google @Computershare Correct.  I don’t think most issuers realize what dividend reinvestment enrollment does to investor’s shares (under many investment plans).  Some transfer agents (allegedly) use selective wording that blurs the lines who is holding which shares.
