I do. But someone as deliberate and focused as Trump does not coordinate this sort of comprehensive roll out without having an end state in mind. (But before I go further, remember this: the process is the punishment. As satisfying as long jail sentences would be, the destruction of the reputations and bank accounts of these treasonous filth would be almost as satisfying. Ask LTG Flynn (an innocent man) what that feels like.) Having said all that, here are my predictions, which could of course be wildly wrong: X. Criminal prosecutions will focus on only one or two key public figures, likely Brennan and/or Comey. X. Lots of innuendo will be out there about going after Obama. He will be left to twist in the wind for a while as the other investigations/trials are ongoing, but ultimately Trump will pardon him. Ostensibly, this will be “for the good of the country,” but also because it’s good politics for Trump and whoever the 2028 GOP nominee is. X. There will be extensive public Congressional hearings, initially designed primarily to serve as a sort of national unity and reconciliation commission (à la Rwanda), but Democrats will turn it into a circus. X. There will be many investigations on smaller crimes like FISA warrant abuses, but those will likely result in plea deals and slaps on the wrist for the small fry. The focus will be on whatever we’re doing to Comey/Brennan and whomever else might be a big kahuna target. X. Hillary will be left alone to drink boxed wine and make bitter posts on X. X. A lot of this will be timed to culminate just before the mid-terms. X. Whatever happens, the MAGA Ragebait Squad will say it’s not enough. Like I said, I could be completely wrong. This is my educated guess. Let’s check back in six months and see if I’m close to accurate. (Except for #7—I XXX% guarantee that will happen no matter what.)
