Fascinating take! Polkadot’s focus on architecture over just scalability really stands out. parachains and the relay chain’s shared security are a game-changer, especially with XX% of chains still chasing transaction speed (Journal of Blockchain Research, 2023). The forkless upgrades via WASM are brilliant too, cuts out the chaos of forks like Bitcoin’s 2017 mess (Parity Technologies, 2020). And that native cross-chain communication? A 2024 IEEE paper backs it as a leap forward for multi-chain ecosystems. Excited to see where this framework takes us.
