Muhammad Babangida is trending because Pres. Tinubu has appointed IBB’s son, Muhammad Babangida as the Head of Bank of Agriculture. 

Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida who removed his arch-rival Muhammadu Buhari in a coup, and installed himself as Dictator and Military President from 1985 - 1993.

Nigerians do not think Muhammad Babangida merits the Position of Head of Bank, despite his accumulated twenty years in diversed industries like security, banking, education and Polo sports.

While patriotic Nigerians are optimistic, others think it’s a political appointment, as the first son of IBB, and they expect nothing.

Asides Babangida, eight other people were appointed, seven North and one SW.
