Some folks remember when quality control meant something. Now it’s like… what even is the standard anymore?

Woman finds something off in a jar of pickles, and it’s barely news. Not even a recall. Just a shrug and “oops.”

Back when nobody was paying attention, major food safety regs got quietly rewritten. Industry lobbied hard—said it was to “streamline inspections.” Then came the automation wave. Less staff, more speed, zero checks.

This ain’t just about pickles. It’s how the system hides behind “acceptable error rates.” And when something slips through? They call it isolated.

Thing is… weird stuff slips through a lot now. Like, a lot.

So is it really just bad luck? Or has the bar been dropped on purpose?

Can’t find much press coverage on this one either. Wonder why?
