Football inflation is calculated based on the combined revenue of all PL clubs each season, which is expected to reflect the club's purchase power. A general reflection is that wages used to be lower and transfer fees higher, 'back in the day'. Anyway -- this summary shows how relative to available money in the transfer market -- Mbuemo and Cunha is our 30th and 33rd biggest signings ever!!
