Since 1993 and David Letterman, the Late Show, has been one of the juggernaughts of leftist propaganda, allowing the culture to shift left while being pesented as "comedy" or "edgy" True, Letterman did it better and was less in your face with the propaganda, but it was still an effort to push the country to the left. CBS does not lose $XX million a year for no reason. Colbert's in your face style gave the game up, and people saw it for what it was, finally. ABC will probably follow CBS's lead as basically the decision is being made that the cost to "change minds" is too steep for what little they are getting from it. They basically ran out of new minds to fill with their garbage, and it wasn't worth the money to keep their useful idiots entertained and programmed. The left also lost their propaganda outfits NPR and PBS last night, though all three will take time to really go away, they are all dead men walking. This is just another example of why the left needs THE RESISTANCE. But alas, THE RESISTANCE is dead. It's dead, Jim. THE RESISTANCE IS THE FEEDING MECHANISM FOR THE OPPOSITION. Without THE RESISTANCE, the parts of the opposition begin to wither on die on the vine. THE RESISTANCE is the lifeblood, the roots of the opposition. It feeds the opposition with new useful idiots who use their time, effort, and money to water the opposition. THE RESISTANCE gives the opposition normalcy and status. It allows the crazies to seem non crazy. THE RESISTANCE allows the opposition to not have to think or come up with ideas to help the people. THE RESISTANCE allows cover for the lazy, the inept, the grifters, and power hungry to hide in plain sight. Until they can resurrect THE RESISTANCE, expect more of the opposition parts to fail and falter, to sputter and whine, to brown and decay. THE RESISTANCE was the needed trigger to create a positive feedback loop in the democrat Party/opposition. It allowed a cycle of reinforcement and momentum within the democrat party/opposition where the parts of the opposition system were feeding and strengthening each other. THE RESISTANCE allowed the parts to become a whole, all working in a concerted effort to push the narratives, the polices, the protests, the lawfare, the election interference, and the culture movements into a superstorm of change. Without it, the opposition is just the opposition and can be defeated much more easily, especially since their ideas are crazy and mostly anti-American. Oh well, too bad, but it's dead. True, Letterman did it better and was less in your face with the propaganda, but it was still an effort to push the country to the left.
