In June 2024, Nike dropped the “Girl Dad” Kobe X Protro, as a tribute to Kobe’s relationship with his daughters. 

Its green colorway drew inspiration from the Philadelphia Eagles beanie Kobe Bryant wore courtside at the Lakers vs. Mavericks game.

The sneaker sold out instantly and went on to become a finalist for a Nice Kicks Sneaker of the Year award.
