So, I tend to look at statistics to determine best driver, based on who consistently maximizes their day and makes very little mistakes. Best in 2024 to present, I think it’s a toss-up between Bell and Larson. They had the best overall statistics throughout 2024 in Top 5, Top 10, Laps Led, and Average finish. Bell was slightly better in consistency, but Larson had X wins. Since May, Larson isn’t looking like the Larson we know. Presently, overall 2024 thru Current, I would give the edge to Bell. For “Best Driver” Award for the ESPYs, I’d have been happy with Larson, Bell, Byron, or Blaney. Logano was just overall too mid for me.
