Spain have qualified for five Women's European Championships, including the 2025 edition in Switzerland. 

In three of their previous four tournaments, they have fallen at the quarter-final hurdle:

1997: Semi-finals (Beaten 2-1 by Italy)
2013: Quarter-finals (Lost 3-1 to Norway)
2017: Quarter-finals (Knocked out via penalty shootout by Austria)
2022: Quarter-finals (Beaten 2-1 by England)

There was no quarter-final round in 1997.
