Here’s what’s in the documents. 📍 What the Intelligence Actually Said Before and after the 2016 election, U.S. intelligence agencies consistently assessed that Russia was not trying to influence the outcome via cyberattacks. On December 7, 2016, DNI James Clapper stated plainly: “Foreign adversaries did not use cyberattacks on election infrastructure to alter the U.S. presidential election outcome.” A December 8, 2016 Presidential Daily Brief, compiled by DHS, FBI, NSA, CIA, and others, stated: “Russian and criminal actors did not impact recent U.S. election results.” Attempts to access voter databases failed. No votes were changed. No outcome was affected. 📍 The FBI Dissent That Stalled the Report The FBI raised concerns about publishing the Dec. X report. They drafted a formal dissent and successfully delayed its release. The next day, December 9, top officials met in the White House Situation Room. Present: Brennan, Clapper, Rice, Kerry, Lynch, McCabe, and others. Result: They ordered a new Intelligence Community Assessment; one that would align with the political narrative they were already pushing. 📍 The Politicized Report The new ICA, released January 6, 2017, directly contradicted six months of prior intelligence. It claimed Russia interfered to help Trump. It cited the DNC leaks, despite the FBI and NSA expressing low confidence in the attribution. That was left out. The goal wasn’t clarity, it was headlines. They needed a story that would justify surveillance, investigations, and the undermining of a sitting president. 📍 The Steele Dossier Was Central, And They Knew It Was Garbage John Brennan pushed to include the Steele dossier in the 2017 ICA, even though the CIA already dismissed it as “internet rumor.” That dossier became the basis for: • FISA warrants on Trump associates • The Mueller investigation • Years of media misinformation • Two impeachments • And an unprecedented abuse of institutional power 📍 Brennan and Comey Are Now Under Criminal Investigation CIA Director John Ratcliffe sent a criminal referral to FBI Director Kash Patel, who launched an investigation into both John Brennan and James Comey.
