Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, condemned the July XX Israeli strike on Gaza’s only Catholic parish, calling the war “absurd” and “senseless.”

“Today they hit us, but every day dozens die. This absurd war must stop,” he told Corriere della Sera.
