Earth is our planet, this is where we came from and is where we live. Earth is optimized for human life, mars is the exact opposite, so hostile and expensive financially, in resources, and human capital. Imagine all the good the same investment could do here if applied it to earth bound initiatives. Money is finite, a good steward will be mindful of that.
