⚖ What Is the “Source of Truth” in Onchain Law?
In a legal system without paper — where does the truth live?

📜 No paper trail, no notary stamp.
In blockchain environments, we rely on technical primitives instead of institutions. But which ones count as “truth”?

🔸 Signature.
A signed transaction shows someone acted — but doesn’t explain why. It’s proof of action, not of meaning.

 🔸 Smart contract
It defines what happens, not what should have happened. Code is law — but only within the scope of what was coded.

🔸 Hash.
It shows that a file hasn’t changed — but not what it means. Hashing makes records tamper-proof, not self-explanatory.

🧩 Truth = context + code + signature.
In onchain law, no single element is enough.
Only when intent, rules, and evidence align — do we get verifiable legal meaning.

💬 What do you think is the most reliable source of truth onchain? Signature, address, contract — or something else?
