🇺🇸 DEP TREASURY SEC.: “STABLECOINS WILL CEMENT THE DOLLAR’S GLOBAL DOMINANCE”

Michael Faulkender:

"We are gonna provide regulatory and legislative clarity to the use of stablecoins for modernizing the payment system.

This is going to further cement the dollar as the world’s reserve currency… making it easier for trade, domestically and internationally, through blockchain technology.

If we don’t provide this clarity, the innovation will take place abroad… and the last thing we want is China setting international standards."
