Highlights - Fast sync has been improved (again) to be much more scalable with the upcoming Smart Contracts. - Better compatibility with low-end devices: Our goal is to be able to run the node on ANY device, that's why some parts of the P2P and a new DB backend has been implemented to align with our target. - Better P2P blocks/transactions propagation: reduced block propagation latency which should result in reduced orphaned / side blocks count (which is also required in case we move to a faster block time) - Better P2P stability with few internal changes (including the upgraded peerlist for faster new peer finding) - Configurable P2P Proxy in case you want to fully hide your IP Address to your outgoing peers (SOCKS), - Configurable max outgoing peers (set to X by default, while the maximum total peers stay to 32).
